Edcouch-Elsa ISD Fine Arts Center / Kell Muñoz Architects This building evolved from significant public conversations with students, parents, teachers and community activists, working with historians, curators, folklorists, artists and architects to envision a community gathering place. Arthur Rimbaud Media Library and Cultural Centre / Dacbert Cochet Chapellier Architects The Arthur Rimbaud Media Library and Cultural centre was constructed in the context of the city of Anthony’s urban renewal program. The city launched a public competition for the construction of a media library at Place des Baconnets with the aim of opening up the secluded Noyer Doré neighbourhood as well as offering cultural activities to the residents of this disadvantaged neighbourhood by promoting social interaction. The Pier Arts Centre / Reiach and Hall Architects To the southerner Stromness is located in the far north, a place more Scandinavian than Scots. To the Orcadian, Stromness lies on the threshold of a more imaginative North, where thoughts of Thule begin. We view our work through the mirror of a northern modernism. Lowenstein Cultural Center / Semple Brown Design The prominent urban site located along East Colfax Avenue was the first anchor development for the City of Denver’s Colfax Redevelopment Plan.
